Nocino "Of the Witches"

To obtain Nocino, unripe walnuts, soft and rich in oils and vitamins, are hand-picked on the shortest night of the year. The infusion, obtained by adding the walnut husks cut into 4 parts to the best alcohol, must then be left to macerate for 11-12 months. This is followed by pressing and a further period of rest. The addition of a sugary mixture and natural flavorings completes the preparation. Excellent as a digestif after a meal, it can also be used to garnish desserts and ice cream.
