Ingredients for 18 meatballs:

Preparation of Parmesan meatballs:

  1. Put the grated Parmigiano Reggiano in a bowl.
  2. Add the egg whites and mix thoroughly with a spoon. Add a few thyme leaves.
  3. Once a homogeneous and compact mixture has formed, take the dough with wet hands and form small meatballs.
  4. Heat the seed oil in a large, deep pan; once it is hot, begin frying the Parmesan meatballs, putting a maximum of 4-5 at a time in the pan.
  5. Fry the meatballs for 6-7 minutes, or until they become golden and crispy.
  6. Drain them on absorbent paper and serve them hot. If desired, you can sprinkle them with a little sweet paprika. Enjoy your meal!
