Like every year, "Caseifici Aperti" (Open Dairies) returns, two days to discover the world of the king of cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano. At our Dairy, you can meet the Master Cheesemaker directly, shop in our store, explore the local area, and taste our delicious Parmigiano Reggiano.
This is a unique opportunity to uncover all the secrets and processing techniques of this fantastic cheese, suitable for both adults and children.
Open Dairies with Caseificio San Simone
Activities at our Dairy will take place on Saturday, October 3rd.
From 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, you can enjoy a free tasting of our Stravecchio 60 months, along with a short tour with our Cheesemakers, who will tell you everything there is to know about our activities.
For an even more exciting experience, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, we have arranged an interesting tour where we will show you the morning production of Parmigiano Reggiano firsthand.
All activities are FREE, and we have prepared the premises to comply with all anti-COVID-19 regulations.
